Hike to the Wurmlinger Chapel and in the surrounds

On the 17th August, 2014 we went for a lovely hike to the famous Wurmlinger Chapel and in the surrounding area, close to the town of Tübingen. The Wurmlinger Chapel, or as it is officially known, the Saint Remigius Chapel, was built somewhere in the time between 1644 and 1685 on the site of the original crypt which was built in 1050.

After leaving the chapel, we hiked through lovely countryside changing from vineyards to fields and then to forest, before we stopped off for a bite to eat and some homemade scrumpy at the Schwärzlocher Hof (www.hofgut-schwaerzloch.de) - which we can highly recommend!
